Mission

The Mission of the Accreditation Council for Clinical Lipidology is to establish, maintain and certify a board examination process by which the clinical competence of medical professionals specializing in clinical lipidology are evaluated and to provide recognition of the meritorious achievement this accomplishment represents when applied to the reduction of patient morbidity and mortality from cardiovascular and other metabolic disorders.
