The CLS certification is now recognized by the American College of Cardiology as qualifying criteria to become an Associate of the American College of Cardiology (AACC), a distinguished designation honoring those with advanced training and education in the field of Cardiology.

Candidates who do not achieve a passing score on the exam are eligible to submit a reapplication at a discounted rate of $250. Re-examinations must occur within one year, three testing windows, following the failed examination. The CLS certification exam may be re-taken up to three (3) times, or 4 times total.
To take advantage of this opportunity, please complete the re-application on this page and return it along with re-application fee ($250) via fax or mail to the ACCL prior to the appropriate application deadline. The ACCL reserves the right to verify re-application information provided prior to the re-application being approved.
